Singer Suk-hang lost the first-instance trial of a damages lawsuit filed over allegations of an affair with a married man, while a recording of Suk-hang pleading for leniency from the other man's wife has been made public.
On the 2nd, a video titled "[Exclusive] 'Please save me, as one woman to another'... It finally broke out over Suk-hang's comeback.. Actual call recording released by the wife" was published on the YouTube channel "List Fact Lee Jin-ho."
According to the video, A, the wife of married man B, directly called Suk-hang after becoming aware in March last year that her husband had an inappropriate relationship with Suk-hang. A identified herself as B's wife and requested that the meetings be stopped.
However, when the meetings continued afterward, A repeatedly contacted Suk-hang. In July last year, she also sent a text message to Suk-hang saying, "Please do not see my husband anymore. I am warning you as his wife," but Suk-hang did not respond.
Subsequently, B told A that he had to accompany her to Suk-hang's performance held on Udo Island on July 25 last year, which was his birthday, and that he would not be able to join them for their child's birthday the following day, the 26th.
A claimed that Suk-hang continued the inappropriate relationship even after being aware that A and B were a married couple.
Ultimately, A sent a certified letter with contents to Suk-hang. However, while acknowledging the fact of her relationship with B, Suk-hang claimed that she had believed "the marriage between A and B had already broken down" and asserted that she was also a victim who had been deceived by B.
Afterward, A filed a lawsuit seeking damages from Suk-hang over allegations of an affair with B. Suk-hang retained a lawyer and continuously attempted to reach a settlement with A's side, but A did not agree.

Lee Jin-ho stated that on October 19 last year, Suk-hang directly called A, and released the recording from that time.
In the call, Suk-hang pleaded with A, saying, "Could you just look past this one time?" and "I cannot do anything else besides this."
She then said, "Five years ago, there was a case exactly like mine, but even though the woman from the high-end massage parlor behaved worse than I did, she had no intention of breaking up A's family."
She added, "Didn't you forgive the woman from the high-end massage parlor? Please just look past this one time for me. I will behave well. We are the same age, so please forgive me once as if saving a friend. It is truly unfair. I am also a victim. As one woman to another. I am really going crazy."
Suk-hang also pleaded, "I was struggling alone because of my ex-boyfriend, so I was a bit reckless. I did not do it on purpose. You forgave the previous woman from the high-end massage parlor, so please just look at me with a broad heart once, with the heart of Buddha once. I do not want to be cursed by anyone like that."
The Seongnam Branch of the Suwon District Court, Civil Division 7, ruled on the 17th of last month in the trial of A's lawsuit seeking 100 million won in damages from Suk-hang as a co-conspirator in an affair, ordering Suk-hang to pay 30 million won in damages and granting partial victory to the plaintiff.
The court stated, "Suk-hang committed misconduct by dating and living together with A's husband starting from January 2025, and therefore bears responsibility for compensating mental damages." It further noted, "There is no evidence to support the claim that the marriage between A and her husband was in a state of breakdown at the time of the misconduct, or that the husband deceived Suk-hang with such intent. Suk-hang's claims cannot be accepted."
This case became known through JTBC's "Incident Chief" last December. At that time, the broadcast released CCTV footage showing Suk-hang and B embracing or kissing in front of an apartment elevator.
