Singer and actor Ryu Philip (37) revealed why he left his wife Mina (53) in Korea and traveled to the United States.
Recently, Ryu Philip posted a video on his YouTube channel titled "I came to the U.S., separated from my wife who is 17 years older."
Ryu Philip, who is currently staying in Atlanta, Georgia, said, "I have been under a lot of stress recently. I suddenly came to the United States because of an uncertain future," adding, "I am trying to make many decisions here."
Introducing the duplex he will stay in for the next two months, Ryu Philip said, "The natural lighting is enormous. It is a good house. Ms. Mina loves houses with high ceilings like this."
He then shared his feelings about living apart from his wife, saying, "I packed luggage for two months' worth, but I feel very sorry to Ms. Mina."
Ryu Philip also revealed that before he left for the U.S., Mina had prepared health foods and other items for him. He said, "The harder things get, the more I felt I needed to exercise diligently, eat well, and take care of my mental health," adding, "When I told her I was going to the United States, my wife packed a lot of things that are good for the body."
At the end of the video, he revealed that his weight had increased by 10 kilograms over the past three weeks, adding, "Please look forward to an incredible change ahead."
Meanwhile, Ryu Philip and Mina married in 2018, overcoming a 17-year age gap.
