The sight of IVE member Jang Won-young installing a high-end audio system worth over 30 million won in the luxury villa she purchased for 13.7 billion won has drawn attention.
On the 7th, Jang posted several photos on her social media (SNS) with the caption "My place, my peace."
The revealed photos showed Jang sitting in the living room wearing a gray outfit. In particular, the large audio system with a unique design placed behind Jang attracted interest.
The product is presumed to be the 'Radiofonografo RR226' by Brionvega, an Italian luxury audio brand.
The Radiofonografo is a product designed in 1965 by Italian industrial designers Achille Castiglioni and his brother Piero Giacomo Castiglioni. The design, which is over half a century old, has been recreated with modern acoustic technology and continues to be sold today.
Unlike ordinary speakers, it is characterized by combining an LP turntable, radio, amplifier, and speakers into one unit. The speakers mounted on the left and right sides can have their direction and placement changed, while a semicircular radio frequency display section is located in the center.
The white model is known to be sold for approximately 30 million won domestically. Thanks to its unique appearance, the product is also gaining attention as high-end furniture or an interior decoration item, not just as an audio device.
Meanwhile, Jang made headlines last October by purchasing the luxury villa she currently resides in with a full cash payment of 13.7 billion won. Recently, she also revealed that she had placed a 'Dune Ensemble Sofa' designed by famous French designer Pierre Paulin in her living room.
Jang is known to have installed 20 modules of the sofa in question. With each module costing at least 7 million won, the total price is reported to reach at least 1.4 billion won.
