Lee Su-hyun of the group AKMU recently ate 'Hanjungseon' rice cakes, which are selling so well that they have caused "open-run chaos," and left an honest review.
On the 12th, a video of Lee Su-hyun eating Hanjungseon rice cakes after his final Seoul concert was released on YouTube's 'Lee Su-hyun Official' channel.
In the video, Lee Su-hyun shared 'Hanjungseon' rice cakes bought by a friend with staff members after finishing the concert.
Lee Su-hyun expressed his anticipation, saying, "My friend bought me 'Hanjungseon.' I really wanted to try it."
The box contained rice cakes in various flavors, including whole tangerine, persimmon, fig, pineapple, melon yogurt, gold kiwi, Dubai, blueberry yogurt, and Shine Muscat yogurt.
Lee Su-hyun's exercise coach, who is in charge of his diet, checked the calories of the rice cakes, and Lee Su-hyun insisted, "It's not my first meal, it's my first snack." The coach was baffled, asking, "Do you count snacks separately?"
After tasting the whole tangerine rice cake, Lee Su-hyun exclaimed, "Oh?" and then gave rice cakes to the staff.
Following the whole tangerine flavor, Lee Su-hyun ate a melon yogurt rice cake and evaluated it, saying, "This one is tastier. You can taste the yogurt."
When one staff member said, "The strawberry and Dubai ones were delicious," Lee Su-hyun took a bite of the Dubai rice cake and made an incomprehensible expression.
When that staff member said, "It's so delicious," Lee Su-hyun replied, "Is it really? Eat it all, sister," and handed over the rice cake.
At this point, one staff member asked the exercise coach, "How many kilometers do I have to run after eating all of this?" The coach answered, "You need to run 10 kilometers. You've eaten about 600 kcal right now. Just run 10 kilometers. Didn't we agree to go running?"
Lee Su-hyun said with a serious face, "I just finished (the concert) and was thinking of resting, but here you are suggesting something else again. Don't talk to me."
Finally, Lee Su-hyun evaluated Hanjungseon rice cakes by saying, "They are tasty, but I don't really understand why there is a three-hour line."
In response to the comment that webtoon artist and YouTuber 'Chimchakman' had said, "Buy the rice cakes and fruit together and take bites of each," Lee Su-hyun said, "It is different from that. It contains either white bean paste or yogurt," adding, "Yogurt is much tastier than white bean paste."
He continued, "The good thing is that all the fruits are delicious. The fruit itself (is tasty), and the skin is chewy. The bean paste and yogurt are included in appropriate amounts."
However, he added, "The problem is that it wasn't that special. It's probably because I don't like desserts. I don't eat sweet things."
'Hanjungseon' is a dessert brand that features various fruits, such as fresh strawberries and Shine Muscat grapes, inside rice cakes. Recently, word of mouth has spread primarily through social media (SNS), leading to continuous open-runs and waiting lines for the product. It is also known that proxy purchases are being made on second-hand trading platforms.
