A former boxing champion husband was seen calling his wife a "slave" and offloading all household chores onto her, leaving the cast in disbelief.
On the 15th, JTBC's variety show "Divorce Cooling-Off Camp" revealed the daily life of the "Champion Couple," both former boxing athletes.
The husband is a former athlete who won the national professional rookie championship in the early 2000s, rose to become an Oriental champion, and even fought for a world championship title. He stated that he performed under the stage name "Yoo-myeong-gu," which was created by taking one character each from the names of boxing athletes Yoo-myeong-woo and Jang-jung-gu.
The husband revealed, "I started boxing in prison" and "If it hadn't been for boxing, I would have lived like a thug until now." He added, "Now I am living more honestly and righteously than anyone else."

His wife also worked in an office before debuting in professional boxing at age 29, rising from Korean and Asian champion to become a women's world champion. She defended her world championship title five times and held it until 2024, when she was 45 years old.
The wife said she first met her husband at the gym and was attracted to his masculine demeanor, proactively approaching him by handing over her credit card. She also expressed gratitude, stating, "My husband sacrificed a lot and helped me greatly until I became a world champion."
Currently, the couple each runs a boxing gym, and their two sons are active as boxing athletes. Their eldest son placed second in a national competition, while their younger son was selected for the U-15 national team and has won championships at the National Youth Sports Festival and the Presidential Cup National Boxing Tournament.

However, in the revealed daily life, the husband was seen offloading household chores onto his wife.
The couple did not get off work until past 10 p.m., but the husband lay on a bed placed in the middle of the living room and ate the meal prepared by his wife. He ordered her to bring him the nearby remote control and gestured for her to clear the dishes. He also called out "Hey!" to his wife and threw the socks he was wearing at her.
Lee Dong-geon, who watched this, expressed shock, saying, "I haven't seen a scene like this even in my parents' generation," while Seo Jang-hoon pointed out, "A complete old-fashioned boss has appeared in 2026."
The wife revealed that although she feels annoyed, she complies with his requests because she does not want to fight with her husband.
The husband said of his actions, “I tell my wife to bring me food—why would I say that to anyone else?” He added, “Honestly, since I was born a woman, I think I am doing what women are supposed to do.”
When asked what he should be doing as a husband, he replied, "Aren't I working hard at the gym?" The wife also worked all day at the gym before coming home.
When the topic of divorce came up, the husband said, "We must not divorce. I need my slave," shocking the cast once again.
The husband explained that it was a joke, but Seo Jang-hoon became angry, saying, "Do you say things like that? That's just nonsense about jokes."
