Actress Kim Ha-young (47) shared her concerns about having a second child with her husband, who was born in 1974.
On the afternoon of the 17th, MBN's 'Sokpuri Show Dongchimi' aired an episode themed "I Will Fall in Love This Autumn," featuring conversations among the cast members.
On that day, Kim recalled her first meeting with her husband, saying, "I am 48 (in Korean age), and my husband is 50. We met in 2022 when I went to an academy for vocal lessons for MBC's 'King of Mask Singer,' and that became the start of our relationship."
The couple, who married last year, does not yet have a second child. Kim said, "I am very active on social media, and when I see images of harmonious families spending time with their children, I feel incredibly envious." She added, "I envy families that are together with their children more than those who are flashy or wealthy. I think I would like to live that way too."
She said she had also discussed her concerns about a second child with her husband. "When I brought it up subtly, he told me, 'Let's not make it too difficult. I hope your body doesn't suffer.' He says we should accept and have a child if it happens naturally," she explained.
She continued, "They say you have to look at the sky to pick stars, but we only talk about it," jokingly quipping, which drew laughter. She added, "Sometimes I feel disappointed that he doesn't make an effort when he says we should have a child if it happens naturally."
Meanwhile, Kim married Park Sang-jun, the director of a vocal academy and former singer, last year.
