Kyeong Seong-min, head of product strategy at Naver Cloud, held the 'Public AX Strategy Seminar' on the 13th at Seoul Dragon City in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and made these remarks. The event was attended by officials from central government ministries and local governments nationwide. Three new features of Naver Works were introduced: 'Naver AI Search' within the administrative network, document collaboration and knowledge management service 'Page', and an agentic AI construction solution called 'EASY (Enterprise Agent Solution for You)'.
The first new feature is the API integration with Naver's generative AI-based conversational search service, 'AI Tab'. Users can simultaneously conduct external information searches and review internal documents on a single screen. By summarizing answers or linking source pages based on government and public data sources, the risk of hallucinations was also reduced. Chief Kyeong explained that "search results can be smoothly connected to daily briefings, trend reports, and even email drafting."
Page is a service where multiple members collaborate on a single document. It allows users to import and work with files in various formats, including Hangul documents, Excel, Word, and PDF. When combined with 'AI Studio', which creates customized AI using organizational data, the AI can locate and gather scattered materials into a single Page. These accumulated Pages then become the ministry's knowledge base.
EASY is a feature that automatically generates suitable AI agents when users describe their tasks in natural language. It enables the implementation of necessary functions without requiring coding or development knowledge. Naver Cloud also plans to dispatch 'FDE' (Frontline Deployment Engineers) who will reside at each institutional investor and support AX initiatives.
Naver Cloud highlighted its full-stack capabilities, comprising infrastructure, proprietary foundation models, and AI services, as key strengths. Because domestic companies are involved from start to finish, even public enterprises where security is paramount can easily adopt AI. Another advantage is relative freedom from AI controls and weaponization by the United States or China. At the event site, a 'Consulting Zone' was also operated, where Naver Cloud staff and FDEs answered customer questions.
Jeong Su-hwan, head of technical support at Naver Cloud, stated, "Naver Works is a service chosen and used by 6.3 million people globally." He added, "We will leverage our experience evolving from an email address book service to an AI collaboration tool to help lead the forefront of AI-driven work innovation."
