
KT announced on the 19th that it is forming a consortium with leading domestic companies in AI services, models and platforms, infrastructure, and institutional investors to participate in the government's "AI for All" project solicitation.
Under the direction of "Benefits of AI for Everyone, Together with South Korea's AI," KT has set as the basic direction of this proposal to enable all citizens to easily enjoy trustworthy AI benefits.
The KT consortium includes companies engaged in AI services linked to national life, leading domestic AI models and platforms, and AI In Peu-ra-reul (CEO) companies. By combining the expertise of each participating company with KT's telecommunications, cloud, and AI operational capabilities, it plans to establish a foundation for AI services that citizens can use stably.
△In the AI service area, Next, Saltlux, Musinsa, Zigbang, ConnectWave, Masspresso, EBS, BC Card, DeepSearch, and others are participating to cooperate in the development and expansion of services linked to national life such as search, shopping, housing, education, and finance.
△In the AI model and platform area, Upstage, Motif Technologies, NC AI, ActionPower, and others are participating to establish a foundation for utilizing differentiated models and platform technologies of leading domestic AI companies and to support the implementation of various AI services.
△In the AI infrastructure area, LabelUp, Rebellion, Besel AI Korea, and others are participating, while KT plans to prepare for stable AI service operations based on its telecommunications, cloud, and AI platforms as well as extensive experience in operating large-scale services.
KT AX Business Division Head Lee Jin-hyeong (SVP) stated, "KT is proposing the 'AI for All' project together with leading domestic AI companies and plans to contribute to enabling all citizens to easily enjoy trustworthy AI benefits." He added, "By combining the capabilities of leading domestic AI companies with KT's telecommunications and AI operational capabilities, we will prepare stable and trustworthy South Korean AI services."
