Baemin will add a point-accumulation feature to its subscription membership, Baemin Club. While the company aims to strengthen the competitiveness of its subscription membership by expanding benefits, it has not disclosed how much the Baemin Club usage fee will change.
On the 1st, Woowa Brothers, the operating company of Baemin, announced that it plans to launch a new version of Baemin Club on October 1, which adds point accumulation at checkout to existing benefits such as free delivery and unlimited 10% discounts on Baemin Mart.
The new Baemin Club is characterized by additional point accumulation that can be used like cash on Baemin, depending on the payment amount. Details such as the point accumulation rate and the price of the new Baemin Club have not yet been determined. There is a possibility that prices may be raised while providing new benefits.
New sign-ups for the existing Baemin Club are only possible until the 30th. Existing subscribers can continue using their current plan without changes to benefits. Baemin launched its subscription service, Baemin Club, in September 2024.
The biggest advantage is that users do not have to bear delivery fees, which typically range from 2,000 to 3,000 won. According to Baemin, Baemin Club subscribers enjoy an average monthly benefit of 18,000 won through free delivery. Additional discounts of an average of 6,000 won per month are provided for grocery shopping at B Mart and other partner stores, as well as when using coupons from franchise brands and affiliated companies.
A Baemin official stated, "We will continue to expand the product lineup of Baemin Club and grow our partnership programs through active collaboration," adding, "It will become a subscription service that people frequently enjoy in their daily lives."
