Bespin Global will diagnose why artificial intelligence (AI) transformation in manufacturing companies stalls at the proof-of-concept (PoC) stage and reveal an execution solution to scale it into enterprise-wide results.
On the 13th, Bespin Global announced that it will hold a "Manufacturing CxO Invitational AX Breakfast Seminar" on the 28th at the Chosun Palace Seoul Gangnam. Sponsored by the Korea Mid-sized Company Association, the event is an opportunity to share practical AI adoption strategies based on cases of AI transformation in domestic and international manufacturing companies.
Bespin Global diagnosed that the reason manufacturing companies fail to connect accumulated equipment, quality, and supply chain data with actual results lies not in technology, but in management structure. It noted that AI projects are not linked to profit and loss, the roles of business operations and IT are unclear, and data and governance are not prepared for AI diffusion.
In response, Bespin Global presents the perspective that "AX is alignment, not adoption." The company explained that people, processes, and data must be realigned based on how much actual work has improved and what financial results it has produced, rather than simply counting the number of AI tools adopted.
As an execution model for this, the company will introduce the "Journey to AI" diagnostic methodology, which measures a company's current level and performance benchmarks over six to eight weeks. It will also reveal a method where Field Deployment Engineers (FDEs) directly enter customer operations, taking charge from identifying a single task through construction, actual business application, and verification of financial results.
Bespin Global will also unveil the "7 Layer AI Stack," an AX strategy map specialized for manufacturing. It is composed of seven layers: infrastructure, model/LLMOps, DataOps, ontology, agent development/operation, governance/security, and performance management.
On the manufacturing floor, the company plans to present step-by-step application plans ranging from global factory data standardization, knowledge graphing of equipment and quality data, building AI agents for production sites, controlling agents in closed networks and legacy environments, to converting AI results into return on investment (ROI).
Speakers at the event will include Bespin Global, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and OpenAI. Han Sun-ho, Vice President and Chief AI Officer (CAIO) of Bespin Global, will present on the topic "AI Transformation in Manufacturing: A Roadmap Read Through 7 Layers."
Following this, Han Jae-yong, an AWS manufacturing specialist, will introduce cases of AX transformation at global manufacturing companies. Hwang Sang-won, Executive Officer of Bespin Global, will share cases of AI agent development actually applied on the manufacturing floor and methods for verifying results. Lee Dong-jae, Account Director at OpenAI, will explain how to utilize ChatGPT Enterprise in manufacturing companies.
After the presentations, a roundtable and networking session will be held where attending executives discuss each company's AX level and first execution tasks together. Han Sun-ho said, "The reason manufacturing AX stalls at PoC is not technology, but the lack of connection to profit and loss and the absence of structures that determine diffusion." He added, "The moment results are defined as business improvements verified by finance rather than the number of PoCs, the path to enterprise-wide rollout opens up."
