Krafton announced on the 13th that it will conduct its "2027 Krafton Recruitment-Linked Internship Program." The company plans to select more than 100 new hires with AI utilization capabilities across all job categories. This marks the largest scale in the history of Krafton's open recruitment for new employees.
Based on the technology and expertise accumulated through creating and operating games, Krafton is advancing AI-based new businesses to expand its business areas. This recruitment was established to secure and cultivate "AI Native" new hires company-wide who will drive these initiatives together. Since declaring its transition to an "AI First" company in the second half of last year, Krafton has examined how AI changes the way work is performed in actual operations. As a result, the company determined that the greatest synergy is created when talent that naturally utilizes AI is added to the expertise of existing organizations.
Starting with this recruitment, Krafton plans to regularize its "AI Native" new hire open recruitment annually. The company aims to further strengthen its AI business alongside talent equipped with AI utilization capabilities.
The job categories being recruited for are six: △AI Research, △Tech, △Support, △Business, △Game Development (Programming), and △Game Development (Planning). Eligibility is open to graduates and expected graduates from domestic and international universities. Evaluation will focus on AI utilization capabilities, general thinking skills, and global competencies. In particular, the company places emphasis on the potential to learn quickly and solve problems using AI. The selection process proceeds in the order of document screening, aptitude test, AI competency evaluation, and interview. Krafton's self-developed AI Native recruitment and evaluation solution, "Cofa-Probe," will be utilized in the AI competency evaluation.
Applications are accepted from today until the 23rd via the Krafton recruitment homepage. Subsequently, tests and interviews will be conducted from November to December, with final successful candidates announced in January of next year. Successful candidates will join the company in February of next year and work in actual operations for five months, with their conversion to regular employees determined in July based on evaluation results.
Han So-young, Head of Krafton's HR Division, stated, "As Krafton expands its AI-based new businesses, the need for people who will lead these efforts together has grown, and accordingly, we have broadened job opportunities and growth prospects for young people." She added, "Starting with this open recruitment, we will continue our bold challenge of combining the capabilities of AI Native juniors with the expertise of existing organizations to create new business opportunities."
