A story has emerged of a mistress who visited a detective seeking revenge after her cheating partner took up with another woman.
In the episode airing on the 22nd, MBN's variety program "Sokpuri Show Dongchimi" will feature a segment titled "I Know What You Did This Summer."
In the preview video, detective Im Byung-soo shared the story of a client who revealed she was a mistress.
Im Byung-soo began by saying, "This client contacted me deliberately. As soon as I answered the phone, she said, 'Detective, I am a mistress.' She wanted to meet for counseling and came to my office to talk."
He continued, "She told me, 'I'm a mistress, but there's another woman involved with him too.' According to her story, they had an affair for three years, but the man had found someone else. As the saying goes, a mistress cannot spy on another mistress. The client learned about the new lover and wanted to punish this man."
He added, "When I asked how I could help her, she requested that I introduce her to a hitman. I told her such thoughts were unacceptable. After some deep thought, she took out a bottle of wine from her bag, opened it, and then asked me, 'Detective, do you have a girlfriend?' She knew he was married but suggested we meet."
She went on to say, "I had been seeing that man for three years, but since I couldn't continue the relationship anymore, I came here wanting to harm him at least a little. But what I really needed was someone else. I wanted someone to fill my loneliness and empty heart. She explained that people who cheat keep cheating because the pain of their breakups is so immense. She asked me why I would try to fill such an emptiness, calling me crazy."
