It emerged that the husband, who claimed he only pretended to meet his ex-girlfriend to avenge his wife's suspected infidelity, actually continued an inappropriate relationship with her.
In the JTBC variety program 'Divorce Reflection Camp,' which aired on the 3rd, footage from the domestic investigation of Kang Hyo-min, known from 'High School Parents,' and her husband Kim Sang-hyuk was revealed. The two were experiencing severe conflict over issues involving the opposite sex.
The husband suspected his wife of cheating, claiming she secretly drank alcohol with a male friend (hereinafter 'male friend') in February and then went to his home. He also obtained video and photos showing his wife entering the male friend's house through a junior colleague living in the same area.
The wife returned home around 11 a.m. the next day and apologized, but initially denied ever going to the male friend's house. After her husband presented evidence, she admitted to visiting the house but claimed it was not cheating, stating that three people, including another female junior colleague, drank together.
The husband also had issues involving the opposite sex. Shortly after this incident, the wife confirmed through an acquaintance that her husband was seen kissing his ex-girlfriend on a hotel bed and saw photos showing physical contact marks on the ex-girlfriend's neck.
Upon seeing this, MC Seo Jang-hoon said, "When you go to an amusement park, you see predators lying down in the safari area. Those creatures live according to their instincts." He added, "Watching these two live, it seems they ignore laws and common sense, living only by their instincts."
The husband claimed that the situation in the photo was not actual cheating but something he staged with his ex-girlfriend to take revenge on his wife. He stated, "To increase realism, I fled to the area where my ex-girlfriend lives while working night shifts," and added that he stayed at his ex-girlfriend's house for two weeks to further anger his wife.
However, the situation changed a week after the domestic investigation footage was filmed. The wife discovered a chat application that her husband had deleted from his phone and sent the production team the conversation history between her husband and his ex-girlfriend.
According to the released conversations, the husband continued contacting his ex-girlfriend until May, even after completing his two-week absence while filming was ongoing. The two exchanged messages such as "I miss you," "I love you," and "I like you more." When the wife suspected him of cheating, he also informed his ex-girlfriend about the situation where he lied to cover it up.
The husband admitted that the marks on his ex-girlfriend's neck, which he had claimed were from cupping therapy, were actually left by himself.
The wife said, "It wasn't just pretending to cheat; we actually did cheat. I was deceived." The husband also admitted, "At that time, it was indeed cheating, but now we have ended the relationship."
Kang Hyo-min became known after appearing on the Channel A variety program 'High School Parents 2' in 2022. She became pregnant and gave birth to her first child in her second year of middle school, later had a second child with another man, and with her current husband, she has three through five children, currently raising five children in total.
