Broadcaster Seo Dong-ju revealed the story of having luxury clothing stolen by a close friend during his school days.
In a video uploaded to YouTube on the 20th of last month, Seo Dong-ju stated, "A friend who lived in the same dormitory with me during high school stole a huge amount of my belongings."
He explained, "I didn't realize that friend was stealing my things. He was just someone who used to come over and hang out often," adding, "Even when clothes went missing, I tended not to look for them, thinking they must have been put somewhere else."
He discovered his friend's theft just before graduating from high school. Seo Dong-ju recalled, "My mom came to the dormitory and asked where the pants she bought were back then, but there wasn't a single pair left," noting that "my mom told the teacher, saying, 'No matter what, how can they be missing like this?'"
He continued, "It turned out that friend had been stealing from me continuously. I opened the luggage he was sending back to his hometown and found my clothes stuffed inside," adding, "At the time, I didn't know much about luxury brands, but they were items from Prada and other luxury labels."
Seo Dong-ju added, "He was such a close friend who treated me so well," remarking, "If my mom hadn't told me, I would still be unaware of this. My mom is very sharp, while I am somewhat carefree by nature."
