Rapper and actor T.O.P (real name Choi Seung-hyun), a former member of the group BIGBANG, and actress Nana (real name Im Jin-a), a former member of the group After School, are in a romantic relationship.
On the 2nd, T.O.P's agency Topspot Pictures and Nana's agency Sublime announced that the two are dating.
Topspot Pictures stated, "The two formed a connection through a music video shoot," explaining, "They developed into a romantic relationship around last June."
Nana appeared in the music video for the title track of T.O.P's solo full-length album "Multiple Perspectives" released in January. The two are reported to have grown closer through this collaboration. T.O.P, born in 1987, and Nana, born in 1991, have a four-year age gap.
Earlier on the same day, rumors of their romance emerged after the two were spotted together near Achiwul Village in Guri City, Gyeonggi Province.
The released photos showed T.O.P wearing glasses and a hat, and Nana wearing a mask, walking side by side out of a convenience store. The two are reported to have enjoyed a date in the neighborhood where Nana resides.
T.O.P and Nana began their entertainment careers as members of BIGBANG and After School, respectively, representative second-generation idol groups, before later expanding their activities into acting.
