The side of actress Kim Hye-ja (85) clarified that reports of the actress's health issues were "just a simple cold."

A source related to the film "Still Brilliant," in which Kim Hye-ja stars, stated on the 8th regarding Kim's health condition, "She has a slight tendency toward a cold. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her health."

The source added, "We adjusted the schedule for this Busan International Film Festival taking into account the director's age and physical condition, and she plans to complete the currently scheduled events as planned."

Previously, Kim Hye-ja attended the red carpet event for the opening ceremony of the 31st Busan International Film Festival held on the 6th at the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae-gu, Busan. On that day, she walked the red carpet alongside director Song Il-gon, who directed "Still Brilliant," her return to the screen after nine years. During this process, she was seen coughing several times and receiving support, which raised concerns.

Meanwhile, "Still Brilliant" is a film depicting the story of Soon-ok (played by Kim Hye-ja), who reunites with her close friend, with whom she shared the most brilliant moments of her life, after 60 years. The film will be released in theaters on the 21st.
