Actor Ha Jung-woo (48, real name Kim Seong-hoon) has shared news of his marriage to actress Cha Jeong-won (36, Cha Mi-young), and his previously stated plans for children on a broadcast are being re-examined.
In June 2024, Ha Jung-woo appeared on the YouTube channel 'Nalnal' and, when asked about his plans for children, replied, "I want three sons and three daughters, or two sons and two daughters."
When the host teased him by saying, "Don't lie. Who is going to marry you? What kind of woman would agree to marry you?" Ha Jung-woo responded, "That's exactly the point. If you just give birth to that many children, I am confident I will treat you very well. Once we get married, I plan to have children immediately."
Mentioning that his father, actor Kim Yong-gun, enjoys taking walks along the Han River, Ha said, "You maintain incredible youth and energy, so didn't you even have a late-in-life child?" which drew laughter. Kim Yong-goon had a son in 2021 with a partner who is 39 years younger than him.
Regarding this, Ha said, "While I feel it is a blessing, on the other hand, I also feel pressure, like 'so what are you going to do about it?' My father and my younger brother (actor Cha Hyun-woo) are all in an atmosphere of having children, so now it is just me who needs to have one."
Ha acknowledged his romantic relationship with Cha Jeong-won last February. The two are known to have met around 2020 and developed into a romantic relationship. They will hold a private wedding ceremony on December 13.
