Actress Kim Jung-nan (55) revealed that she had a hard time for six months following her thyroid cancer surgery.
A video was released on Kim Jung-nan's YouTube channel on Monday, showing her visiting Jeonju Hanok Village.
In the video, Kim met Kim Hye-mija, a master of traditional Korean paper craft, who specializes in colored paper.
When Kim Hye-mija expressed concern, saying, "Your face looks thin," Kim Jung-nan began by saying, "(I've) lost some weight, so that might be it." Kim Hye-mija touched the area near her own neck and asked Kim Jung-nan if she had undergone surgery.
She said, "(I had) thyroid cancer surgery," adding, "It was tough, but after six months have passed, I feel like things are getting a bit better now. The first six months were really hard."
Kim Hye-mija said, "You almost had a major incident." Afterward, she prepared various side dishes for Kim Jung-nan, creating a heartwarming scene.
Meanwhile, Kim Jung-nan previously revealed on MBC's 'Radio Star' in September that she discovered thyroid cancer at an early stage earlier this year and underwent surgery without chemotherapy.
