Suspicions have been raised that woman A, known to have accompanied rapper Yang Hong-won to a motel, liked a video featuring Yang's daughter.
On Sunday, screenshots showing an SNS account presumed to belong to Woman A liking a video in which Yang's daughter, Rhea, appears, spread across the online community.
The video was posted on an account run by a fan of the Yang family. It was edited into a clip of approximately 19 seconds featuring Rhea, based on footage released in August on the YouTube channel "Yang Hong-won's Parenting Diary."
However, it has not been confirmed whether the account that liked the video actually belongs to woman A. The account is currently deactivated.
Previously, a man identified as B, who claimed to be an acquaintance of Yang, asserted on the 23rd via social media posts and a live broadcast that Yang had visited a lodging facility with another woman. In the process, he released photos of the woman and call records, among other materials.
In response, management agency AP Alchemy acknowledged that the two had gone to the motel together but explained that there was no intimate behavior inside the room. The agency stated, "The materials presented by the whistleblower are maliciously edited results," and announced that it had filed a complaint against B for extortion, violation of anti-stalking laws, and defamation through false statements.
According to the agency, B demanded that Yang and woman A, who were drinking together with him, leave and go to a motel he designated. The two reportedly went to the motel unavoidably due to this demand.
Yang fell asleep as soon as he entered the room, and woman A tried to wake him after some time had passed but requested B's help due to concerns that physical contact might occur. According to the agency, A then returned home with B.
The agency claimed that B, who later faced financial difficulties, used the fact that the two were together as leverage to edit previous conversations and demand money. The agency stated that after Yang and woman A reported the matter to the police, B pieced together conversations and call records to launch the exposure.
Yang married former model Won Hyeon-ju on the 18th. The couple has been dating since 2017 and welcomed a daughter in November 2024.
