A resident has claimed to have spotted IVE member An Yu-jin at a newly built apartment complex, after reports that she won a highly sought-after apartment through a lottery-style housing subscription.
On De. 23, a video titled “3,000-unit D.H. Bangbae, September move-in, brand new! Sensible interior” was uploaded to YouTuber Park Eun-young’s channel ‘Alkong Dal Kong Park Eun-young.’
In the video, Park visited the home of an acquaintance who resides in D.H. Bangbae in Seoul Seocho-gu, where residents began moving in last September. Park introduced that the occupancy rate is still at around 40% and toured the apartment’s interior and various convenience facilities.
While looking around the house, Park said, “This place became famous because IVE’s An Yu-jin won the general sales lottery,” adding, “It’s like ‘the destined will win,’ as if she wins with a golden touch.” She then asked her acquaintance, “Is An Yu-jin coming to live here?”
The acquaintance replied, “I saw her yesterday.” When Park expressed surprise, the acquaintance explained, “She doesn’t live there. It seems her parents are moving in,” adding, “So it seems I can spot them from time to time.”
However, whether An or her family actually resides there has not been confirmed. The content is based on a resident’s sighting and speculation.
Previously, An drew attention for reportedly winning the lottery allocation in the general sales of D.H. Bangbae.
D.H. Bangbae supplied 650 units during its general sales in August 2024, of which 215 units were allocated through a lottery system. Approximately 50,000 people applied for the housing subscription, recording an average competition ratio of 90 to 1.
At the time, the highest sale price for a unit with a floor area of 84 square meters (25 pyeong) was 2.243 billion won, but it was reported in July that asking prices were around 4 billion won. Speculation arose that An Yujin may have won Type B units with a floor area of 101 square meters.
An’s agency, Starship Entertainment, said last July that it is difficult to confirm the matter regarding the housing subscription win as it is a personal issue.
