Singer Min Hae-kyung recalled the critical situation her husband faced.
Min Hae-kyung uploaded a video titled "Pork Loin Seaweed Soup I Made for My Husband Who Is Recovering After Surgery" on her YouTube channel, "Hae-kyung You Miss," on Monday.
In the video, while preparing pork loin seaweed soup, Min said, "Recently, my husband suddenly developed a high fever of 40 degrees Celsius. We went to the emergency room and he underwent surgery, but his small intestine and appendix were both rotting away."
She added, "Thinking about it now makes me very sad, so I don't think I can go into too much detail. If we had been even a little later, it would have truly been a life-threatening situation."

Min said that after going through such a major crisis, her perspective on family had changed. "I felt so many things," she shared. "I thought a great deal about how I needed to do better." She continued, "I also came to understand what is truly precious. My husband seemed pitiful to me."
Appearing emotional, Min said, "I won't cry; I'll try making seaweed soup. This is a time to move forward now. However, we still need to be careful for another month."
Currently, Min's husband is in the recovery stage after his surgery, but he appears to require special attention and care for the time being.
Born in 1962, Min married her husband, who works in the trade industry, in 1995.
On the tvN STORY program "Chart Sisters," which she appeared on in 2022, Min revealed her affection for her spouse by saying, "My husband is five years younger than me. I was the one who proposed first. My husband is a man who possesses all the qualities of being masculine, delicate, and considerate."
