Rapper Yang Hong-won, who became the center of controversy over affair suspicions five days after his wedding, has ultimately deleted all wedding photos from his social media (SNS). However, photos of his daughter, Rua, remain.
As confirmed on the 3rd, Yang Hong-won deleted or set to private all wedding photos with his wife, Won Hyeon-ju, that he had uploaded to his Instagram the previous day. This follows his earlier deletion of the caption "Hyeon-ju, I love you. I still feel like I'm entering a motel in Cheongho-dong," drawing attention as he has now cleaned up the post itself.
On the same day, he posted a chain bracelet set with gemstones and jewelry in the shape of the letters "G" and "O," also writing "GO."
Yang Hong-won held his wedding with former model Won Hyeon-ju on the 18th of last month, only to be engulfed in affair suspicions five days later. The couple filed their marriage registration in 2023 and has a daughter born in 2024.
Previously, a man identified as A, who claimed to be an acquaintance of Yang Hong-won, asserted on October 23 via Instagram and a live broadcast that Yang had gone to a lodging facility with another woman. In the process, A released photos of the woman and call records, among other things.
His agency, AP Alchemy, acknowledged that Yang Hong-won accompanied a female acquaintance to a motel but explained that there was no intimate behavior in the room. The agency also stated, "The materials presented by the whistleblower are maliciously edited results," and announced that it had filed criminal complaints against A for extortion, violation of the Stalking Punishment Act, and defamation through dissemination of false facts.
Subsequently, on the 31st, during the Halloween period, photos and videos claiming to have spotted Yang Hong-won in the Seoul Hongdae area spread across various online communities and SNS. A video showing Yang holding a microphone and rapping was also posted on the SNS of a club in Hongdae.
Netizens showed negative reactions, with comments such as "His wife is raising the child alone, yet he's at a club again" and "No time for childcare, but time to go to a club?"
Following this, Yang Hong-won shared lyrics from rapper Drake's song "WNBA," including "It feels like we are drifting apart" and "We are not a relationship that ends easily," before deleting them.
In response, some speculated that this was an implication about his relationship with his wife.
Yang Hong-won and Won Hyeon-ju had been sharing their daily parenting life through YouTube. Following Yang Hong-won's affair suspicions, the two unfollowed each other on their SNS accounts, and as Yang deleted all wedding photos, curiosity about the state of their relationship is growing.
