"AI (artificial intelligence) is not merely a simple tool that answers questions but can become a new employee responsible for hospital revenue. We are now entering the era of 'LAM' (Large Active Model), which can independently recognize hospital environments and take proactive action to increase revenue."
Song Hyung-seok, CEO of Wise AI, said, "Despite experts gathering in the medical field, management and administrative support systems remain stuck in analog methods. AI can simultaneously solve the most pressing issues in the medical environment: 'management efficiency' and 'revenue growth.'"
A former accountant, Song Hyeong-seok (CEO), established a connection with the medical industry while participating in a consulting project to export Samsung Medical Center's smart hospital model to Sri Lanka. Witnessing hospital directors struggling with management issues such as frequent staff turnover, he resolved to use technology to alleviate these concerns and founded Wise AI.
Wise AI first focused on the challenges faced by 1Cha (Rep.)-level hospitals. This is because So Gyu-mo (Rep.)s believe that the absence of even one staff member can be fatal to hospital operations. In particular, they argued that hospitals must move beyond a structure where they simply wait for patients.
Song (CEO) stated, "Our business model is clear. It goes beyond simple CRM (customer relationship management) to 'Revenue Automation' that actually generates revenue." He added, "We have evolved the technology to the point where AI directly calls patients to consult and make appointments."
AI hospital staff provide 'hyper-personalized' responses to patients

Wise AI's representative solutions are 'DentON' and 'AiU'. These solutions allow AI to independently analyze a hospital's electronic medical record (EMR) data to select candidates for regular checkups or insurance benefits, with AI directly making outbound calls to confirm appointments.
For example, the system selects dental patients due for scaling or those without scheduled appointments, makes direct calls, engages in conversation, and secures bookings. DentON is specialized for dental clinics, providing care at each treatment stage, while AiU is a general-purpose solution covering all medical departments and general enterprises.
Song (CEO) said, "Sending bulk text messages is not enough." He noted, "In the past, hospital staff had to make individual calls during busy work hours, but now AI can faithfully take on that role."
He added, "We have completed EMR system and API integration with hospitals nationwide, enabling hyper-personalized responses tailored to each patient's medical history." He explained, "Appointments secured through AI are reflected in real-time on the hospital schedule, efficiently filling vacant slots without requiring separate intervention from hospital staff."
Hospitals that adopted Wise AI's solutions saw an average revenue increase of 34.5% compared to before adoption. Patient no-show rates decreased by approximately 44%, and hospital operating costs were reduced by 15% through workforce efficiency and business automation. As of last month, the number of hospitals using the solution exceeded 500.
Song (CEO) said, "If there is an assistant who does not tire for 24 hours, never goes home, and faithfully performs their duties, hospital directors can focus entirely on their core business: medical treatment and patient care." He noted, "The view that AI cannot be as delicate as a human was a major challenge, but we overcame it through technology development."
Beyond LLM to the 'LAM' Era… "Performing actual actions"

While existing AI chatbots were based on LLMs (Large Language Models) that simply answer questions, Wise AI has expanded its technology with the concept of LAM, which performs actual actions. Song (CEO) described it as "a model that goes beyond conversation to directly execute actions required in real-world business settings."
Wise AI is also working to spread its next-generation smart homepage solution, 'AI Page.' For hospitals without a homepage or those that do not manage one properly, the AI Page aims to be more than just an information delivery channel; it seeks to serve as a 24-hour communication channel between AI and patients.
Song (CEO) explained, "It is built in the form of a mini-homepage containing essential hospital information (location, operating hours, medical services, etc.) without a complex development process." He added, "Even at night after staff have gone home or on weekends and holidays, AI immediately answers patient inquiries and conducts consultations."
He emphasized, "Because EMR is integrated in real-time, AI checks for available slots and schedules appointments immediately, resulting in low appointment drop-off rates." He also noted, "It integrates with platforms like Naver Places, allowing patients who arrive via search to complete their reservations directly on the AI Page, making it effective for attracting new patients."
Additionally, the system automatically collects patient reviews and testimonials during consultations and generates images or videos based on simple text to activate page content. It supports various language settings including English, Chinese, and Japanese, making it useful for handling foreign patients as well.
Targeting the North American market, expanding business into non-medical sectors

Wise AI is also accelerating its efforts to conquer the global market. First, it has completed API integration with 'Open Dental,' a local EMR provider in North America. This has laid the technical foundation to expand services to approximately 8,000 dental clinics and hospitals across North America.
Subsequently, the company plans to broaden its sales channels focusing on English-speaking countries such as Canada, Australia, Singapore, and India. In Japan, it is collaborating with a local company that distributes EMR systems to approximately 4,500 dental clinics to drive market entry.
The company is also expanding its business into non-medical sectors. Currently, it is conducting a PoC (proof of concept) to provide AI solutions to 3,500 Korean-owned taekwondo dojangs in the United States. The goal is for AI to assist with dojang consultation tasks and automate attendance and payment management for members, allowing instructors to focus solely on martial arts education.
Song (CEO) stated, "The sophisticated and delicate AI consultation expertise accumulated in the most demanding field of healthcare possesses general applicability that can be immediately applied to any service industry." He added, "I believe AI will contribute not only to corporate revenue generation but also to solving various challenges facing our society."
In this regard, the company is also pursuing the development of dementia care and silver care solutions. He said, "AI will periodically check on the well-being of elderly people living alone and detect emergency situations such as falls in real-time to provide alerts, thereby contributing to the construction of a social safety net."
He further remarked, "Technology must ultimately be directed toward people. Our ultimate goal is to create warm, human-centric AI that benefits people." He concluded, "We will transform into a global AI agent company that helps business owners grow and provides sincere services to consumers."
