LG Electronics will unveil an evolved AI Home featuring "ThinQ Claw," an AI (artificial intelligence) agent that identifies users' lifestyles and proactively proposes and executes necessary functions. The company is targeting the European market with its AI Home ecosystem, which connects AI appliances with AI Home hubs and platforms, along with high energy efficiency as key assets.
LG Electronics announced on the 3rd that it will participate in IFA 2026, Europe's largest home appliance trade show held for five days starting from the 4th local time in Berlin, Germany. In an exhibition space of approximately 3,745 square meters, the company will showcase over 150 key products under the theme "Innovation tailored to you."
About 46% of the total exhibition booths will be designed as private consultation spaces exclusively for business partners. By establishing the largest private booths in its history, LG Electronics aims to strengthen its outreach to B2B (business-to-business) customers, including local distributors.
The centerpiece of the exhibition is AI Home. Centered on the next-generation AI Home hub "LG ThinQ On" and the AI Home platform "LG ThinQ," it connects living spaces, home appliances, and services into one unified system. The exhibit demonstrates how AI understands users' lifestyles and spatial characteristics by recreating actual living areas such as living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and outdoor spaces, thereby providing necessary functions.
"ThinQ Claw," which enhances autonomous AI agent functionality, will also be showcased for the first time. Installed on LG ThinQ On, ThinQ Claw is an executive AI agent that converses with users to understand their living patterns and situations, proactively proposing and executing necessary functions.

Users can remotely control home appliances via chat and integrate with external services such as web searches and calendars. For instance, if the system checks a user's calendar for travel plans, it will first suggest turning off lights and TVs to save energy and disabling automation features. Similarly, upon identifying children's vacation schedules, it may independently recommend adjusting air conditioning usage and robot vacuum operating times.
The scope of AI Home is also being expanded into commercial spaces. Through the B2B integrated management solution "LG ThinQ Pro," the company will present a solution that integrates and manages home appliances, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and energy facilities in buildings and offices.
The company will also utilize "Homey," a smart home platform from "Athom," a smart home platform company acquired by LG Electronics in 2024. By integrating AI appliances, HVAC, solar power, and energy storage systems (ESS) with Homey, the company will showcase a Home Energy Management System (HEMS) that comprehensively manages the entire home's energy flow. It plans to further utilize this as a B2B solution targeting multi-family housing construction companies in Europe in the future.
The "Fit & Max" product line, specifically tailored for the European market, will also be expanded. These products feature designs that fit spaces perfectly (Fit) while maximizing capacity and convenience (Max). The lineup has been broadened from refrigerators to include washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers. This marks the first time these expanded product lines are being showcased together in one place, targeting the European market which prioritizes space and energy efficiency.
High-efficiency appliances will also be prominently featured. LG Electronics has applied its proprietary high-efficiency dual inverter heat pump and inverter compressor technologies. The company will introduce washing machines that reduce energy consumption by an additional 70% compared to Europe's highest energy rating (A-class) standards, as well as dishwashers and refrigerators that achieve reductions of 30% and 35%, respectively.
Televisions and premium appliances are also indispensable. At the center of the exhibition hall, a media gallery will be arranged around the 83rd-inch wireless wallpaper TV "LG Signature OLED W." The showcase will include the 2026 model LG OLED evo AI and micro RGB (red-green-blue) evo displays, as well as the world's first UltraGear gaming monitor that simultaneously supports FHD resolution and a 1000Hz ultra-high refresh rate.
Demonstrations will particularly feature: △the LG Signature refrigerator's AI voice recognition function, which understands daily conversations to propose optimal refrigeration modes; and △the "Gourmet AI" function of the 30th-inch wall oven, which recognizes food ingredients via an internal AI camera and recommends cooking modes suited to the type of food.
At the exhibition entrance, a stage for "LG AI Orchestra," directed by the home robot "LG CLOi," will be set up. A kinetic LED (Kinetic) display measuring 16 meters in width and 4 meters in height will introduce LG Electronics' representative home appliances. Subsequently, media art, lighting, and music will express how home appliances, TVs, and air conditioning products are interconnected under the direction of LG CLOi.
Baek Seung-tae, Executive Vice President of LG Electronics' Home Appliance Business Division, stated, "Through a more convenient and expanded AI Home ecosystem encompassing AI appliances, AI Home hubs, and AI Home platforms, we will solidify our leadership in the global premium home appliance market."
