Samsung Electronics announced on the 4th (local time) that it won four Innovation Awards at 'IFA 2026', Europe's largest home appliance exhibition, held in Berlin, Germany.
The Innovation Award is a global award program newly established by IFA Berlin in 2025. Samsung Electronics received one Design Category Top Innovation Award (Winner), one Innovation Award (Honoree), and two Home Appliance Innovation Awards. Notably, the 'Bespoke AI Wind-Free Combo Pro Wall-Mounted' air conditioner won both the Design Category Top Innovation Award and a Home Appliance Innovation Award, achieving a double crown.
The design was highly praised for reinterpreting the air conditioner not merely as a functional home appliance but as an interior accessory that naturally blends with living spaces. The product features a restrained flat front panel and places the ultra-precise micro-holes—core to the Wind-Free function—at the bottom of the unit, achieving visual stability and a minimalist design.
Performance also received high praise. 'AI Motion Air' uses motion radar sensors to detect users' locations and movements, providing seven types of customized airflow and high-efficiency cooling. It also supports the 'Wearable Good Sleep' function, which synchronizes with Galaxy Watch to adjust cooling based on actual sleep patterns. Additionally, the 'Bespoke AI Family Hub' refrigerator won a Design Category Innovation Award, while the 'Bespoke AI HYBE ReaD 4-Door Kitchen Fit Max' refrigerator received a Home Appliance Innovation Award.
