Samsung Electronics advised users to fully utilize the AI (artificial intelligence) features built into the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. To address such scenarios, the company enhanced its AI-based image processing capabilities to deliver better results.

They added, "We have expanded the virtual aperture engine, previously available only in Expert RAW (a professional settings feature), to Portrait mode, enabling more sophisticated rendering of bokeh (the phenomenon where out-of-focus points of light appear as circular orbs) and light orbs based on distance."
Continuing, they said, "Galaxy connects the shooting process with post-editing," proposing the generative AI-based 'Photo Assist.' This goes beyond simple cropping or color correction; it can remove unnecessary parts from already taken photos or generate and apply new backgrounds. As an example, when a photo of London's Tower Bridge was displayed and the command "Change it to a sunset background" was given, the AI generated a twilight scene.
