As foreign media reported that the U.S. government has determined that Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, was in a romantic relationship with a female businessperson suspected of being recruited by Chinese intelligence agencies, the Korea visit schedule for his daughter, Madison Huang, Senior Vice President at NVIDIA, has been canceled.
According to the Ministry of Science and ICT on the 7th, the cancellation of Madison Huang's Korea visit means that the meeting scheduled for the 8th with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Science and ICT, Bae Kyung-hoon, will not take place. The specific reason for the cancellation of the Korea visit has not been disclosed.
Madison Huang, Senior Vice President, is the daughter of CEO Jensen Huang and handles global business operations at NVIDIA. She was originally scheduled to attend the 'NVIDIA AI Day Seoul 2026' event to be held at COEX in Seoul on the 9th. The event will proceed as planned, but some schedules have been canceled.

The British Financial Times (FT) reported on the 7th that U.S. officials drafted a memo regarding the relationship between CEO Jensen Huang and Alice Huang based on intelligence obtained by intelligence agencies earlier this year.
Alice Huang is an executive at Singapore-based data center company MegaSpeed, and U.S. intelligence authorities suspect she has been recruited by the Ministry of State Security (MSS). It is reported that Chinese intelligence agencies attempted to collect information related to U.S. AI (artificial intelligence) semiconductors through Alice Huang and exert influence to have NVIDIA supply advanced semiconductors to China.
NVIDIA declined to comment on the relationship between the two individuals and the U.S. government memo. CEO Jensen Huang previously stated that he meets with thousands of customer executives every year.
To date, no connection has been confirmed between the cancellation of Madison Huang's Korea visit and the suspicions surrounding CEO Jensen Huang.
