SK AX announced on the 14th that it received the Ministry of Employment and Labor Minister's Award with its self-developed generative AI education and certification program.
On the 11th, SK AX won the Minister's Award at the 'Corporate Qualifications Government Recognition System Operation Excellence Case Presentation Conference' held as part of the 'Human Resource Development Conference' at Seoul COEX Maegok. The Corporate Qualifications Government Recognition System is a system in which the government officially recognizes corporate qualifications operated by companies to enhance employees' job competencies.
SK AX's 'AI Literacy' and 'AI Bootcamp' were recognized as Level 2 and Level 1 qualifications, respectively, for the use of generative AI. It is described as the first and only case in Korea to receive government recognition in the field of AI competency certification.
AI Literacy is a process that educates and assesses employees on necessary generative AI skills, including document creation, data structuring, spreadsheet utilization, and basic programming. The AI Bootcamp is a program that cultivates on-site AI experts by building customized AI agents that operate in conjunction with internal company data. Both programs provide AI-driven competency assessments and personalized feedback.
SK AX also established a management system to ensure fairness and reliability in evaluations. It reduced bias in the creation of exam questions and evaluation processes, ensuring that humans review final results. Employees are also guided on displaying generative AI outputs and adhering to ethical guidelines.
