Comedian Kim Jimin (41) revealed that after wearing a provided robe at a motel in the past and discovering an unidentified object in its pocket, she became sensitive about the hygiene of her accommodations.
In the YouTube content 'Inspection Accommodation,' released on the 15th, actors Hwang Bo-ra, Kim Jimin, and Jung Yi-rang discussed their criteria for choosing lodging and their worst accommodation experiences.
Kim Jimin said, “Twenty years ago, when I went to a local performance, I stayed at a 50,000 won motel,” and introduced the incident she experienced at the time.
She stated, “Since I don’t go to motels often, trying on a robe once was my dream,” and added, “I put on the robe and put my hand in the pocket, and XX came out.”
The specific item Kim Jimin discovered was not explicitly revealed. A subtitle reading “Something shocking came out” appeared in the video.
Jung Yi-rang, who heard the story, was shocked, while Hwang Bo-ra expressed surprise by saying, “That’s disgusting.”
Kim Jimin revealed, “When I brought the robe back to the owner, he calmly gave me another room,” and added, “It was a terrible experience. Since then, I don’t even touch robes with my hands.”
She further added that it was both the reason she became meticulous about checking the hygiene status of accommodations and a trauma.
Meanwhile, Hwang Bo-ra also revealed her own criteria for evaluating lodging.
Hwang Bo-ra said, “Even if I go to the best place, I end up going out to sightsee, so I can’t properly enjoy the accommodation, which is a pity,” and added, “If I think it would be nice to come with my son Woo-in, I give it a high score.”
She also cited breakfast as an important element in travel. In response, Kim Jimin joked, “Sister Bo-ra is a foodie, so food is actually more important for her. Sister Yi-rang just needs the alcohol to be cold and refreshing.”
Hwang Bo-ra said, “I always check the refrigerator temperature,” eliciting laughter.
