Hollywood actress Jennifer Lawrence (36) shared an experience in which she strongly objected to unauthorized staff remaining on set while she was filming a nudity scene in the past.
According to the U.S. entertainment outlet People on Wednesday (local time), Lawrence recently disclosed an anecdote from her acting career on the podcast "Call Her Daddy."
While explaining that the profession of acting requires flexibility to adapt to various situations, Lawrence emphasized that there are principles that must be upheld on set.
"There was one incident," she said. "We were filming a nude scene, and staff who were not authorized to enter the set were present." She added, "I addressed that situation very strongly at the time. It was not just about a personal issue."
Lawrence had previously stated that she is generally not overly sensitive about filming her nudity scenes. However, she explained that she raised the issue then because she considered the possibility that less experienced actors might face similar situations.
"If I did not establish this principle, what would happen in the future?" Lawrence asked. "What if an 18-year-old rookie actor who has just started their career and is not yet well-known came to a set where unauthorized people were watching?"
She continued, "That young actor would be placed in a difficult situation, wondering whether they should raise the issue and risk gaining a reputation as a difficult actor, or simply allow people who are uncomfortable seeing them naked to look."
She emphasized, "It was important to clearly explain to those involved why such a situation is unacceptable."
Lawrence also shared another anecdote from her time on set.
"A staff member zoomed in on an area where cellulite was visible and asked, 'Would you like us to retouch this part?'" she recalled. "So I answered, 'No, that is just my butt,'" which drew laughter.
Meanwhile, Lawrence recently revealed that she had undergone breast augmentation surgery and expressed a desire to have a facelift in the future, sparking attention.
