Park Jun-hyung of the group g.o.d said that he did not even receive 10 million won as a settlement payment during his debut album activities.
A video was released on the YouTube channel "The Brian" in which Park appeared as a guest and conversed with Brian, a former member of the group Fly to the Sky on Tuesday.
In the video, when the production team asked if he had received etiquette training at his past agency, Park said, "There was no manners training; we were hooligans. My settlement payment for my first album was less than 10 million won." He then recalled, "We didn't do activities for three to four months back then. It was tough."
In response, Brian reacted by saying, "Even so, Fly to the Sky received 2 million won, but we earned more than you guys did."
When Park joked, "We were pretty successful, weren't we?", Brian retorted, "We were successful too. We also won a rookie award."
Park said, "Our third and fourth albums were huge hits, and that's when we started making money. Before that, we couldn't make any money."
Park also offered advice to Fly to the Sky, who reunited as a full group after eight years.
He said, "I am someone who has done group activities, and since we were active during the same period, I have many concerns. We are not coming out to compete for rankings, right? What we are doing now is fan service."
Previously, Park had also mentioned the settlement payment for g.o.d's first album activities on the YouTube channel "Channel A-Teen" in December of last year.
At that time, Park said that he received approximately 10 million won after his first album activities, and Kim Tae-woo corrected him by saying, "To be precise, we each received 13.6 million won."
In response, Park said, "I only received 9.8 million won," explaining that he had gone out driving the manager's car with Yoon Kye-sang, punctured a tire, and had the repair costs deducted from his settlement payment.
