"They said I looked like I was 18 and wouldn't sell me wine…" Song Hye-kyo praises her youthful appearance

Actress Song Hye-kyo boasted of a youthful look so young she could pass for wearing a school uniform.

On the 7th, the YouTube channel "Tteun Tteun" uploaded a short video titled "[Hint Cam] The 124th Attendee at the 'Jie-mo-im' Gathering | Revealed at 9 AM on November 14 (Sat)."

In the video, Yoo Jae-suk said, "Two exceptionally handsome and beautiful people came today," introducing Gong Yoo and Song Hye-kyo.

Yoo Jae-suk asked Gong Yoo if he was the impatient type.

Although Gong Yoo replied, "I'm not that impatient," Song Hye-kyo countered, "But you're not that laid-back either," causing the audience to burst into laughter.

In response, Yoo Jae-suk also remarked, "You two have great chemistry," looking pleased.

When asked, "Did you debut around the same time?" Song Hye-kyo stated, "I am the senior." Immediately after, Gong Yoo, who is in his 26th year since his debut, crossed his legs, eliciting laughter.

Song Hye-kyo, who is celebrating her 30th anniversary of her debut this year, mentioned that she started (her career as an entertainer) through a school uniform modeling contest.

When Gong Yoo complimented her by saying, "You would still look pretty in a school uniform now," Song Hye-kyo got defensive, saying, "They say that because I'm short. I get teased about it every day." According to Song Hye-kyo's profile, she is 161 cm tall.

Following this, Song Hye-kyo said, "If I get too bored, I think, 'I'll buy a bottle of wine on my way home and have a glass,' but when I go to the store, they say I look like I'm 18 and won't sell it to me," adding that she felt embarrassed.

Song Hye-kyo was born in 1981 and is 44 years old, while Gong Yoo was born in 1979 and is 47 years old.

The two will team up in the Netflix series "Slowly, Intensely," a new work by screenwriter Noh Hee-kyung.

"Slowly, Intensely" is a work depicting the growth story of people who threw themselves into their dreams of dazzling success despite having nothing, set against the backdrop of the Korean entertainment industry in the 1960s to 1980s, an era dominated by barbarism and violence.
