BTOB member Lee Chang-seop (35) revealed that he is experiencing side effects from taking hair loss medication.
On the episode of KBS JOY's "Kkiri Kkiri" broadcast on the 9th, the final story of SISTAR Soyou, BTOB Lee Chang-seop, and 2AM Jeong Jin-woon's trip to Takamatsu, Japan, was revealed.
In that day's broadcast, an alarm for Lee Chang-seop's "rest" went off at 10 p.m.
He explained that it was to "take hair loss medication," unintentionally confessing his hair loss issue. He showed himself taking the medicine on time every day, saying, "I have to take it at the same time every day."
Soyou asked, "You have so much hair, why are you taking it?" and Lee Chang-seop replied, "It's because I took this that my hair has increased."
When Soyou asked, "I lose a lot of hair too; should I take hair loss medication?" Lee Chang-seop said, "You should take hair loss medication while you still have hair."
He explained, "Hair loss medication doesn't make hair grow; it prevents hair from falling out. For men, the side effect is gynecomastia. The glandular tissue develops."
Continuing, he said, "Since I started taking this, glandular tissue has formed," and added, "Jin-woon can't see his nipples poking out even when wearing just one shirt. But if you develop gynecomastia, your chest sticks out unusually prominently," eliciting laughter.
He further added, "I will have to undergo surgery to remove (the glandular tissue) later," and noted, "Once it's removed, it won't come back again."
