Actress Han Ga-in and actor Kim Dong-jun, who resemble each other to a doppelgänger level, are receiving explosive reactions for playing siblings in the drama.
In ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama "New Recruit Season 4: Sabotage," which aired on Monday, a scene was depicted where Jeon Woo-joo (played by Han Ga-in), the older sister of Jeon Se-gye (played by Kim Dong-jun), visits him.
Im Sung-min (played by Nam Min-woo) made viewers laugh by telling a soldier who asked who Jeon Woo-joo was, "Can't you tell just by looking? She's Jeon Se-gye's older sister. Put her in a military uniform and she's immediately Jeon Se-gye."
Choi Byeong-nam (played by Kim Hee-soo), who had been shedding tears after receiving a breakup notice from his girlfriend, suddenly appeared to be in love again as if nothing had happened. Other soldiers showed expressions as if they were spellbound, saying things like "She looks like the most beautiful person I've ever seen" and "She's pretty."

While the seniors briefly left their posts, Se-gye mimicked Woo-joo's unusually calm behavior and said, "It gave me goosebumps." In response, Woo-joo retorted, "Sister, you're still alive anyway. Consider your military life a blessing because of your pretty sister."
Then, Se-gye stared directly at Woo-joo's face and said, "You look so ugly," to which Woo-joo replied, "If you insult my face, you're spitting on my sister's face," making the audience burst into laughter.
In the drama, the actors appeared to be captivated by Han Ga-in's actual beauty, providing comedic moments. Only Kim Dong-jun, who played the brother in the drama, threw insults at Han, further enhancing the fun by displaying a chemistry reminiscent of real-life siblings.
Netizens who watched the drama reacted with comments such as "They really look alike," "Please let Jeon Woo-joo appear more often. I want to see their real-life sibling chemistry at home," "Even real siblings don't look this much alike," and "The two met on SNL and YouTube before, so they have loyalty."
Previously, Han and Kim had become a hot topic online as "doppelgangers" or "celebrities who look alike." The two, who actually met through a YouTube broadcast, underwent genetic testing and recorded a match rate in the top 3%, drawing attention.
