The video showed one of Kim's eyes heavily bruised in shades of purple and yellow. A small wound above her eyebrow also caught viewers' attention.

The couple also revealed on the tvN STORY variety show "Lee Ho-sun Counseling Office," which aired last May, that they had faced a crisis of separation just three years into their remarriage. They explained that they had stopped talking to each other for about 10 months after a conflict triggered by a message from Kim's close male friend saying, "If things are going to be like this, it would be better to live alone," shocking viewers.
In particular, Yoo confessed that he felt betrayed by his wife and had decided to divorce her. He said he visited a law firm to prepare for litigation based on his wife's fault. Kim also stated that she intended to file a counter-suit, conveying the severity of the situation at the time.
