Members of the group Epik High were stunned after seeing the villa of Lee Hae-ri from the group Davichi.
On the 12th, a video showing Lee Hae-ri's villa where Kang Min-kyung and Epik High met was released on the YouTube channel 'Gyaeng Myung Gyeong.'
In this video, Epik High visited Lee Hae-ri's villa to spend special time ahead of the release of their collaboration track "Mise-en-scene," which is scheduled to be released at 6 p.m. on the 13th.
The members of Epik High, upon arriving at the villa, showed their surprise at the grand mansion.
Mithra exclaimed, "This house is amazing," and "It must be about 300 pyeong." Tablo reacted by saying, "Isn't this Malibu? Rappers in L.A. film music videos in front of places like this."
He then asked, "Did you build it like this?" to which Lee Hae-ri replied, "I built it myself."
Tablo, seeing the spacious outdoor area filled with food, expressed envy by saying, "The type of music we do and Davichi's is similar, and our YouTube presence is similar too. Judging by the timing, we probably earned a similar amount, but I see that a duo can live like this."
Hearing this, Kang Min-kyung asked, "Don't you have royalties? Aren't Tablo's royalties enormous?"
Tablo retorted, "Even so, if three people split it, it's nothing." He then added, "We split the royalties too. I write lyrics with Mithra and share songwriting credits with Two Cut when we work on tracks together."
Lee Hae-ri revealed that she had even purchased a draft beer machine for Epik High, who love beer, drawing admiration.
When Lee Hae-ri said, "I bought this because I heard you like beer," Tablo was astonished, asking, "How much money do you have?" Kang Min-kyung also expressed surprise, saying, "It's a draft beer machine?" In response, Lee Hae-ri coolly replied, "This one is cheap," catching everyone's attention.
Kang Min-kyung, after tasting the draft beer, exclaimed, "It's creamy," and continued to marvel, asking, "Why are you giving me this for the first time? Why is it so cold? Does it get refrigerated?"
Davichi is a female duo that debuted in February 2008, and has been loved for hit songs such as "8282," "Love and War," "Time, Stop," "I Hate You But I Love You," and "Don't Say Goodbye."
Previously, Kang Min-kyung had revealed Lee Hae-ri's villa in Yangpyeong County, Gyeonggi Province, through her YouTube channel in April 2024. The villa features a spacious indoor area with a grand piano, a lawn yard, and a deck. At the time, Kang Min-kyung said, "It looks like a palace. It looks like a chairman's house."
