Singer Cho Jung-min (40) shared an update on her condition following thyroid cancer surgery.
Cho revealed on her personal Instagram on Monday, "It has been five years since my thyroid surgery, and I have just completed my final regular check-up."
She wrote, "At the time of the surgery, I was greatly afraid that I might no longer be able to sing. However, just three months after the operation, I was able to challenge myself on 'Current King 1,' and it is truly grateful and happy that I can continue to sing healthily up to this point."
She added, "Going forward, while taking good care of my health, I will be with you all for a longer time with even better songs. Thank you always."
Meanwhile, Cho first disclosed her thyroid cancer surgery when she appeared on MBN's 'Current King' in 2023. At the time, she stated that she had informed her mother of the surgery only after the fact and that she returned to the stage approximately three months after the operation.
