Popular music critic Lim Jin-mo revealed his longing for his son who passed away.
At the end of the tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block,' which aired on the 14th, a preview video featuring Lim Jin-mo was released.
In the preview, Lim Jin-mo confessed, "How can I keep up with songs these days? Can you even hear Cortis's 'REDRED' right now? No, you can't," eliciting laughter. He then teased that he would reveal how to properly listen to K-pop these days, sparking curiosity.

Regarding the group BTS's declaration that they will not submit entries to the Grammy Awards, Lim Jin-mo said, "The boycott declaration was satisfying," adding, "It felt like a declaration of musical independence from the United States."
Previously, in July, BTS declared a de facto boycott by stating through social media (SNS) that they would not submit new songs or albums to the 69th Grammy Awards in 2027.
This followed criticism that the Grammy Awards had created a new Asian music category, including 'Best Asian Pop Music Performance,' which isolated non-English-speaking artists from major categories and emphasized their status as "foreigners."
BTS members stated, "Music should be evaluated for what it is, not by region or language," and directly decided to abstain and not submit entries. Subsequently, the group Stray Kids also joined the boycott by not submitting candidates to the Grammy Awards.

Lim Jin-mo confessed to the pain hidden behind his cheerful demeanor.
Yoo Jae-suk mentioned Lim Jin-mo's late son, saying, "In 2021, your son…," and Lim Jin-mo replied, "He left me first." Lim Jin-mo's son passed away at the young age of 32 in 2021 after battling a brain tumor.
Pointing to the flashy sports socks he was wearing during the recording, Lim Jin-mo said, "These are my son's socks," adding, "I wear them thinking that we are together," evoking sympathy.
