'I'm Solo' couple Young-sook and Young-sik split after three months, saying 'We were happy'

Yongsuk and Yeong-sik from Season 32 of "I Am Solo" have ended their relationship.

Yongsuk said through her social media on Tuesday, "Many people have been asking, so I am speaking carefully. We have concluded our relationship as lovers and decided to support each other's happiness."

She added, "The time we spent together and the feelings we had for each other were genuine. I was happy meeting a wonderful person, and I intend to cherish that time as a good memory going forward."

Furthermore, she noted, "Since you came to know us through the broadcast, I fully understand your curiosity. I sincerely thank everyone who has looked upon us favorably and supported us until now. We would be grateful if you could warmly watch over us so that we can live well in our respective places."

Yeong-sik also announced the breakup on his SNS on the same day, stating, "After much deliberation, we have decided to support each other's paths," and adding, "I am grateful for the time we shared and will work hard in my own place."

The two met through the divorced special episode of Season 32 of the dating reality show "I Am Solo" on ENA and SBS Plus. They revealed that they had developed into a real-life romantic relationship after the broadcast aired last July, and garnered attention by sharing their long-distance relationship life between Seoul and Busan. However, they went their separate ways after dating for about three months.
