Actress Kim Jung-hwa shared the health status of her husband, Yoo Eun-seong, who is suffering from a brain tumor, stating that they are monitoring his condition without surgery.
On Wednesday, a video titled "My pretty daughter is a building owner in Chinatown" was released on the YouTube channel 'Real Actresses.'
In the video, actresses Lee Kyung-jin, Kim Young-ran, and Ahn So-young visited the main branch of the cafe run by Kim while touring Incheon's Chinatown.
The corporation operating Kim Jung-hwa's cafe is known to have purchased a building in Incheon's Chinatown for 1.05 billion won in 2023. Currently, Kim uses this location as both the headquarters and the store.
Kim also revealed that she opened her 13th branch, the Simgil branch, last month. When Kim Young-ran exclaimed, "This is absolutely no small business," Kim Jung-hwa replied, "It just ended up this way somehow. I didn't even know what a business plan was."
Afterward, Kim mentioned the health status of her husband, Yoo Eun-seong.
Kim said, "My husband is young, but a brain tumor was discovered about three years ago. Since that incident, we are just maintaining his condition now," adding, "I heard that surgery would be in a dangerous situation."
She continued, "So I always live while praying for him not to have to undergo surgery. We are still living without surgery right now. He looks fine too."
She added, "Day by day, we seem to be living while saying 'Thank you for extending our family's life for today.'"
Kim Jung-hwa, born in 1983, married CCM singer Yoo Eun-seong in 2013 and has two sons. Since revealing his brain tumor diagnosis in 2023, Yoo Eun-seong has been undergoing follow-up observation.
