The DS (semiconductor) division of Samsung Electronics announced on the 13th that it will run a 'DS Together' event to express gratitude for the dedication and cooperation of its partner companies' executives and employees.
Over two months starting in October, the company will operate a 'Coexistence Cafe' providing coffee and tea at the workplaces of major partners. In December, it plans to hold a 'Movie Day' event inviting partner employees and their families to watch films together.
Starting from the 6th of this month, Samsung Electronics has begun visiting partner sites sequentially, including Daeduck Electronics, Sae-sol Diamond Industry, TLV, and PSK, to operate the 'Coexistence Cafe' for approximately 27,000 executives and employees across 67 semiconductor purchasing partners.
Shin Young-hwan, CEO of Daeduck Electronics, stated, "It was a time when, despite busy work schedules, employees from both companies could briefly encourage each other's efforts and reflect on the meaning of our partnership."
Events were also held on-site, offering beverage gift certificates as prizes, and communication sessions were arranged where executives met directly with partner company executives and employees to exchange views.
In addition, Samsung Electronics plans to hold a 'Movie Day' from the 21st to 23 at screening venues in the Giheung, Hwaseong, and Pyeongtaek areas of Gyeonggi Province and the Cheonan area of Chungnam Province, inviting approximately 30,000 partner employees and their families to watch films.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics is operating various programs for co-growth with its partners, including financial support, improvement of working environments, leisure and welfare support, and strengthening competitiveness in technology and ESG (environment, social, and governance).
