A space has been established in Gwangju, South Jeolla Province, where all Genesis models can be viewed directly and test-driven.
Genesis officially opened its sixth dedicated showroom in Korea, 'Genesis Gwangju,' on the 6th, following locations in Hanam, Gangnam, Suji, Anseong, and Cheongju.
Genesis Gwangju is the first Genesis-exclusive showroom in the Honam region. Customers can view and test-drive the entire Genesis vehicle lineup. Various exhibitions and community programs are also available for experience. The facility consists of seven above-ground floors and three underground floors, with a total floor area of 9,881 square meters (approximately 2,994 pyeong), the largest among Genesis showrooms.
The space was designed with the concept of 'Weaving Light and Reflection.' Inspired by the regional characteristics of Gwangju as a city of light and water, it embodies the meaning that light and surrounding scenery reflect on the water surface and architecture, blending into a single space as if weaving threads together. A waterside space illuminating light and the surrounding landscape was created in the lower levels of the building. Transparent glass facades were applied to the upper levels to realize the restrained beauty and sense of openness pursued by Genesis.
Genesis Gwangju features a total of 20 display vehicles, along with specialized spaces where customers can experience the brand's design, technology, and lifestyle. The first and second floors include a reception for welcoming customers and dedicated spaces for test drives and vehicle delivery. At the test drive lounge, customers can relax comfortably while enjoying Genesis signature tea. From the third to the fifth floor, customers can encounter the entire Genesis vehicle lineup and view and combine various vehicle CMF (color, material, finish) options.
The sixth floor is utilized as a special exhibition space showcasing the future vision and design philosophy of the Genesis brand. To commemorate the opening, the GV90 and GV90 Neo Run are on display, allowing customers to experience the value of future luxury pursued by Genesis.
On the seventh floor, there is a private space for Genesis owners only, the 'Owners Lounge,' along with a rooftop cafe and terrace. Here, customers can enjoy pastries utilizing Honam regional ingredients and local roastery coffee, accompanied by Genesis signature tea.
A Genesis official stated, "Genesis Gwangju is not merely a space for displaying and selling vehicles, but a space where the brand and customers deeply connect," adding, "Through various programs that highlight regional characteristics and differentiated customer experiences, it will expand touchpoints with Honam region customers and establish itself as a key hub to enhance brand competitiveness."
