As the "pet humanization" trend spreads—treating pets as family members—the pet food market is rapidly shifting from simple nutritional supply to a focus on disease prevention and health management. However, functional pet foods targeting chronic conditions in pets such as skin diseases, allergies, and immune deficiencies are still criticized for lacking scientific validation and quality control.
AllDayOrganic aims to fill this market gap by developing premium functional pet food that combines AI-based prediction technology for functional ingredients with clinical efficacy verification. Kang Myung-hak of AllDayOrganic stated, "Functional pet food must now move beyond reliance on experience and intuition and be based on clinical data and scientific validation."

AllDayOrganic has acquired technology from Faminogen, an AI-based drug development company, that can shorten the material development period—which previously took several years—to around six months. This technology uses virtual simulations and AI screening to predict optimal combinations and synergies of pet food ingredients. Additionally, it has formed a consortium with Gachon University's Aging Clinical Nutrition Research Institute, Jeonbuk National University's College of Veterinary Medicine, and CRO specialist Bitwin, establishing a systematic verification process that progresses from cell and animal experiments to clinical trials on pets. Kang (CEO) remarked, "This is nearly at the same level as human pharmaceutical development pipelines," adding, "In the pet food industry, only a few companies in Korea have such a structure."

Notably, the company applies "combination therapy" to its pet food. This strategy involves using two ingredients that act through different mechanisms simultaneously to amplify effects. For example, in cases of skin troubles, it combines ingredients that strengthen the skin barrier with those that stabilize immune responses. The logic is that combining them yields better results than using them separately—a method widely used in general pharmaceuticals.
AllDayOrganic's proprietary technology, "LAVASIMBIO," is a representative case. It combines minerals extracted from Jeju lava seawater with components derived from shiitake mushrooms. In experiments conducted at Jeonbuk National University's College of Veterinary Medicine, the combination showed significantly more pronounced improvements in atopic dermatitis compared to using each ingredient alone. These findings were also published as an SCI-level paper in an international academic journal.

AllDayOrganic's stock and snack product lines incorporating these functional ingredients total approximately 70 varieties. This extensive lineup stems entirely from customer feedback. When asked by a reporter whether the variety was excessive, __NAME_0__ smiled and replied, "We accepted every request from customers via social media saying 'please remove this,' which is how we reached this number."
According to Kang (CEO), each dog has different allergy triggers. Some dogs react to chicken, while others react to broccoli. If two ingredients are combined in a single product, the pet may refuse to eat it due to one of them. Under the principle that guardians should be able to select and combine only the ingredients suitable for their own pets, the lineup naturally expanded. Kang (CEO) added, "Every time we accumulate reviews confirming that allergies improved after actual feeding, we feel we are doing meaningful work."
Another differentiator of AllDayOrganic is its move toward a vertically integrated structure covering raw material sourcing, manufacturing, and sales. Kang (CEO) began operations by leasing organic farmland from the Gimpo Regional Agricultural Cooperative to outsource cultivation. However, as rural aging made this model unsustainable, the company acquired aquaponics-based smart farm technology from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and built its own facility. This method grows plants using fish waste. Currently, it operates a testbed in a three-tier stacked container structure covering approximately 10 pyeong (about 33 square meters).

Furthermore, the company recently purchased a 650-pyeong site in Tongjin-eup, Gimpo, and has begun construction of a new factory spanning 400 pyeong. The facility will be equipped with smart equipment including fully automatic frying pans, fully automatic meat forming machines, fully automatic three-side packaging machines, and fully automatic heat-sealing vacuum packagers.
Kang (CEO) stated, "Once the new factory is completed, daily production capacity will expand more than fivefold compared to current levels." He also added, "Operating our own factory will reduce manufacturing costs. Rather than simply selling products through OEM arrangements, we aim to secure customer trust by directly controlling everything from raw material sourcing to production."

AllDayOrganic is expanding its online and offline distribution channels, including Hyundai Department Store Yeouido Branch, GS25 convenience stores, domestic veterinary clinics, Market Kurly, and Naver Live Shopping. It is also pursuing overseas expansion, currently focusing on Asian markets including Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, and China. This year's target revenue is 4 billion won, rising to 7 billion won next year. The company plans to achieve cumulative sales of 33 billion won by 2029 and pursue a listing on KOSDAQ. Kang (CEO) said, "Our ultimate goal is to become a global pet food head company that can be trusted domestically within five years, similar to global giants like Nestlé Purina or Mars Petcare."
