Fasoo AI announced on the 2nd that it has launched a 'DRM source code security' solution applying virtualization isolation technology.
Unlike existing methods that encrypt files individually within applications, the new product isolates and encrypts the development environment itself. Its key feature is protecting source code while reducing system load and slowing down work speeds caused by repetitive encryption operations.
It is not dependent on specific applications, allowing it to be applied to various development tools, thereby reducing maintenance burdens associated with updates to individual applications. By ensuring developers store data only in designated secure drives, the solution also prevents source code leaks by insiders.
The new product is provided as an extension software of Fasoo AI's data security solution 'Fasoo Enterprise DRM (FED) 6'. When integrated with FED 6, functions such as preventing captures on source code, inserting screen watermarks, controlling the clipboard, blocking printing, and tracking usage history can be applied.
Yoon Kyung-gu, Chief Technology Officer of Fasoo AI, stated, "This is a solution that can safely protect source code while maintaining usability in development environments," and added, "We will pioneer the source code security market, which is still in its early stages."
