LG CNS announced on the 27th that it has obtained certification for 'ISO 37301,' the international standard for compliance management systems.
ISO 37301 is a standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to enable companies and organizations to systematically manage their compliance obligations, including laws and regulations, internal rules, and ethical standards. Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) conducted this audit.
The scope of the certification covers LG CNS's key business areas, including AI, cloud, data centers, and software development and maintenance.
LRQA reviewed each business organization's compliance operating system by examining systems and documents, interviewing management and responsible personnel, and verifying actual work records.
LG CNS operates a system centered on its company-wide Compliance Committee, which includes compliance risk assessment, training, monitoring, internal audits, and management review.
The company explained that the committee's operations, including those involving overseas subsidiaries, and the system for employees to voluntarily check compliance risks using the internal portal were also evaluated as excellent practices.
Hyun Shin-gyun, President of LG CNS, stated, "Through this certification, we have been recognized for establishing and operating a compliance management system that meets international standards across our major business areas," adding, "We will continue to enhance our compliance system in domestic and overseas business environments."
