AhnLab announced on the 28th that its consolidated revenue and operating profit for the third quarter of this year were 79.5 billion won and 10.9 billion won, respectively, representing increases of 23.1% and 38.7% compared to the same period last year. Net income for the current period was 7.6 billion won, a decrease of 40.4% over the same period. Cumulative consolidated revenue and operating profit for the first three quarters were 209.8 billion won and 18.2 billion won, respectively, up 14.0% and 47.3% year-on-year.
On a standalone basis, third-quarter revenue and operating profit were 72.2 billion won and 12.9 billion won, respectively, increasing by 26.2% and 25.3% compared to the same period last year. Cumulative standalone revenue and operating profit for the first three quarters were 188.9 billion won and 25.3 billion won, respectively, up 15.9% and 28.1% year-on-year.
AhnLab stated, "The year-on-year growth rate of our network security business in the third quarter this year was in the triple digits," adding, "Revenue increased as demand for EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) and MDR (Managed Detection and Response) expanded."
The company further noted, "Our global business also recorded double-digit revenue growth compared to the same period last year, following the previous quarter," and said, "We will maintain our growth trajectory based on expanding demand for AI-based security and strengthening our AI-native security competitiveness."
