Broadcaster Guak Tube (34, real name Kwak Jun-bin) confessed that he spent all the money intended for a car on games.
On Tuesday, a video titled "Kwak Jun-bin's New Car Trip After Becoming a Father" was uploaded to Guak Tube's YouTube channel.
In the video, KwakTube, who went on an outing to Han River Park with his family by car, said, "Since I had a baby, I find myself driving a lot more. I currently have two cars: one is a BMW X1 and the other is a Radar. I use the X1 as our family car, but it's quite small."
He added, "I like small cars, but I recently realized something while driving. Once you load up the baby, the stroller, and luggage, you realize why people drive a Carnival. I need to buy a new car, but I don't want a big one, yet I have to carry a lot of stuff, so I'm quite torn."
KwakTube revealed that he had been considering various models, including the Genesis GV70, Volvo XC60, Santa Fe, Palisade, Carnival, and Porsche Taycan.
He explained, "I don't think Porsche is for me. Honestly, I'm not very interested in cars and don't have much desire for one either. Since I have a strong appetite for food and games, wanting a car on top of that would make me seem like a complete madman, so I decided to use a car subscription service."
KwakTube, who was then engrossed in a soccer video game, said, "You might say, 'With your level of income, you could drive a better car,' but I spent all the money here (on games)." He self-deprecatingly added, "I'm sad too. I'm a crazy person who blew my car-buying money on games," eliciting laughter.
Kwaktube married a non-celebrity woman five years his junior in October of last year and welcomed his son, Taesan, in March of this year.
