At its earnings announcement for the third quarter of 2026 held on the 28th, SK Hynix stated, “Combining the volumes already secured through LTA (long-term supply agreements) with the demand currently under specific negotiation with customers, DRAM and HBM (high-bandwidth memory) volumes are essentially sold out over the next three years, through 2029.”
The company explained, “We are focusing on enhancing medium- to long-term demand visibility by expanding LTAs and translating this into stable revenue and profit growth,” adding, “The volumes under negotiation are based on customers’ specific purchase plans and represent highly realizable demand. We assess that medium- to long-term sales visibility has significantly improved.”
It further stated, “Volumes currently secured through LTAs account for more than 50% of total capacity for next year and 2028, and we plan to maintain the proportion of medium- to long-term LTAs at a similar level,” adding, “Production volumes not covered by LTAs will be actively utilized to secure future competitiveness by flexibly responding to market conditions and demand for next-generation products.”
