Actor Lee Jong-suk showcased his strong friendship, stating that he has been maintaining the connection formed through the drama 'I Can Hear Your Voice' for 13 years.
On the 3rd, a video titled "They say if you meet your doppelganger, one of them disappears | EP. 162 Lee Jong-suk | Salon Drift" was uploaded to the web variety show 'Salon Drift' on the YouTube channel 'TEO TEO'.
In the video, Lee Jong-suk, who returned with the Disney+ drama 'The Empress', appeared as a guest. Lee reunited with Director Jo Su-won, whom he had worked with in the past dramas 'I Can Hear Your Voice' and 'Pinocchio', for this new work as well.
In the video, Jang Do-yeon expressed curiosity about whether Lee Jong-suk frequently contacts Director Jo Su-won outside of their projects. In response, Lee Jong-suk said, "We hold an 'I Can Hear Your Voice' reunion once a year," introducing that there is a gathering where the cast and production team come together.
He continued, "We are doing it again tomorrow. If Lee Bo-young-nuna says, 'Pick a day, book a restaurant,' I look up blogs and reserve a restaurant. As the youngest member, I do everything directly myself. I check all the routes and parking. After making the reservation, I say, 'I've secured a restaurant,' and then we meet. Tomorrow is the day of our reunion."
When Jang Do-yeon asked who attends the reunion, Lee Jong-suk answered that Lee Bo-young, Yoon Sang-hyun, Kim Gwang-gyu, along with Director Jo Su-won and Screenwriter Park Hye-ryeon, participate.
He added, "There is no reunion that lasts as long as 'I Can Hear Your Voice.' It has been about 13 years."
