LG CNS was selected as a 'Major Player' in the digital workplace services assessment by global market research firm IDC, becoming the first domestic company to receive this designation.
On the 19th, LG CNS announced that it had been selected as a Major Player in the 'IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Digital Workplace Services 2026 Vendor Assessment.' The assessment included 18 global companies, with LG CNS being the only domestic company on the list.
The IDC MarketScape is an analytical model that comprehensively evaluates the current business capabilities and future strategies of global IT companies. It assesses not only product and service competitiveness but also customer references and actual customer experiences.
LG CNS received high ratings for its digital workplace capabilities, centered on its business innovation agentic AI service, 'a:xink.'
IDC cited LG CNS's strengths as △AI-native platform capabilities △expertise in regulated industries and security and network isolation environments, and △end-to-end project execution capabilities verified by customers.
a:xink is an agentic AI service that goes beyond simple information retrieval or work support to autonomously perform actual tasks. It provides services such as the enterprise business portal and groupware 'Worx,' the mobile business portal and groupware 'Worx M,' the personal AI agent 'Claw,' AI translation and meeting support 'Translator,' and AI document creation 'Doc.'
The company's accumulation of agentic AI project experience in industries requiring high levels of security, such as finance, public sector, and manufacturing, was also evaluated as a strength. In its report, IDC assessed that companies seeking to transition from traditional digital workplaces to agent-based task execution could consider LG CNS as an innovation partner.
In customer evaluations, the company received high scores for its project execution capabilities covering consulting through deployment and operation, industry understanding, flexible response, customer-centric collaboration methods, and agentic AI specialized personnel.
LG CNS applied its digital workplace services, including a:xink, to overseas business sites of LG affiliates in the United States, China, Singapore, and Germany. As a result, it explained that work productivity improved by 20% to 40%.
The company estimates that, when combined with effects such as reduced working hours and lower license costs compared to foreign solutions, an annual cost reduction of several hundred billion won is expected.
Kim Hong-geun, Senior Vice President and Head of the Digital Business Division at LG CNS, said, "Being selected as an IDC Major Player is significant in that it signifies global market recognition of the competitiveness of our digital workplace services, which we have differentiated centered on a:xink." He added, "Going forward, we will innovate customer work productivity based on agentic AI and strengthen our market position."
